About those New Year’s Resolutions

This year I tried something new: Instead of focusing on areas in my life that need improvement (which confirms that there is a problem) I turned my resolutions into affirmations – this way I can identify with the solution instead of dwelling on the problem.

I trust the process of life – I am always at the right place at the right time
I listen to my inner voice and let myself be guided by it
I consult my heart first when making decisions
I create moments of stillness throughout the day
I use every chance to appreciate beauty
I release the need to be perfect
I find pleasure in all that I do
I make time to be with loved ones and dear friends
I nourish my body with foods that make my cells hum
I create from a place of inspiration
I follow my soul’s calling
